Good luck Margaret!

The fabulous Margaret O'Sullivan who has tirelessly worked for the Irish Cancer Society for the past 28 years, has recently left the charity organisation. After some rest and relaxation (and several rounds of golf!) Margaret will be considering her options - and for someone with her energy, knowledge and connections, she will definitely have many options! I have always found her an absolute pleasure to liase with and look forward to doing so again in the future. We had a lovely going away do in the Cornstore - plus about 30 minutes in the Bodega before closing time... but here is a pic of the pair of us at The Butterfly Ball in The Radisson SAS Hotel recently. I was MC for the night and Mark Daly, presenter of RTE's 'Home Salvage', conducted an auction. The ball, organised by former Cork Rose Trish Cotter and her Butterfly Wings committee, raised money for the Night Nurse programme of the Irish Cancer Society. Many thanks to The Radisson's Colette O'Callaghan too for extending the invitation to stay over - which led to a sing-song in the residents bar of course... and hence not quite enough sleep on those lovely comfy pillows!
