Good times at The Vision Centre
One of my favourite places to go for exhibitions in 2007 was The Vision Centre on North Main Street, where I always get a friendly welcome.
Because their openings are quite early in the evening I fear that my days are numbered for attending their openings, as from February I will have a new radio schedule meaning I'll finish up slightly later in the day (more details in a future post I hope). So I'm having a look back at some of the pictorial moments from the past year for a touch of nostalgia....
Pictured are photographer John Lotty, Lorainne Cahalane from The Vision Centre, me and Tony O'Connell at Tony's exhibition of cityscapes and rural landscapes.

Here I am with John X Miller, director of Cork Vision Centre, at the last exhibition of the year, where mince-pies were served... yum!
And with Gillian Counihan from Cork City Council and Finola Horgan from the Vision Centre at another exhibition at the end of the summer.
So roll on another successful year for the Vision Centre in 2008... and hopefully I'll be able to drop by now and then to say hello....
