Hotel Crawl!
Here I am, glass in hand again! Well, you've heard of a pub crawl... I went one step better this past week and embarked on a hotel crawl! Last Tuesday saw the launch of the Cork Luxury Hotel Group - and for the occasion a number of guests were invited three hotels for parties in each... a kind of a whistle-stop tour. We were brought to and fro on a luxury coach to The Ambassador in St. Luke's, The WatersEdge Hotel in Cobh and Oriel House Hotel in Ballincollig. At each venue we were treated to delicious finger food and a selection of drinks, plus there was entertainment in each place too. It was such a lovely idea and Santa was even enlisted for the bus journey. There I am snuggling up to him, below... He even brought a pressie for each of us. When we arrived back to the bus at one point there was a gift waiting on every seat! Well, I have been a good girl all year.....
The spread at The Waterfront Hotel was quite spectacular, especially if you eat fish - which I don't. I was a little alarmed to see that one lobster was alive and kicking in the middle of the elaborate display!
..And below is a little boy called Brian who accompanied us on the trip. He was entranced by Santa and was delighted with his pressie.
