Hello all,
My name is Martina O'Donoghue, presenter of The Red Zone on Cork's RedFM. You can join me between 2 - 5pm Monday to Friday - and for my sins, on Saturday mornings at 7 - 10am. I've been here from the very beginning (which is over four years now - my; how time flies!) Before that, my colourful history includes presenting on national TV, freelancing as a voiceover artist and working in various other radio stations as well. See our website's profiles page Behind the Mic for more info.

Cork's RedFM is all about music and we keep it pumping for your pleasure! I also try to reply to as many texts and e-mails that come in while I'm on air. I love how radio has become so interactive.

Outside of the radio station, I have recently started writing a social diary for local newspaper The Evening Echo. So I have the arduous task of attending events and reporting back on all the gossip. It's a hard job but someone's got to do it.... Tonight I'm off to The Walworth Farce, a new play opening at The Everyman and later will dash to Cyprus Avenue to see The Walls and the winners of Murphys Live 2006. Tell you how it all went down tomorrow....
